Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the booking of consultations, programmes, and related services ("Services") offered by Dr. med. Riza Arapi ("the Practitioner", "I", "we"). By enquiring about, booking, or attending a Service, you ("the Client") agree to these terms.

Important: the Services offered through this website are educational, advisory, and coaching-based in nature. They do not constitute a medical psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription. If you require medical or psychiatric care, please contact your GP or local hospital. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact emergency services (999 in the UK) or attend your nearest A&E.

1. Nature of the Services

Services offered include the Initial Consultation, the Burnout Prevention Programme (1:1), and Webinars & Seminars for organisations, as described on this website. These are advisory and educational services grounded in psychiatric expertise, and are distinct from psychotherapy, clinical psychiatric treatment, or traditional executive coaching.

The Practitioner holds medical and psychiatric qualifications, but does not provide medical or psychiatric services through this website. No doctor-patient relationship, and no clinical or therapeutic relationship, is created by enquiring about, booking, or attending a Service. The Client acknowledges that the Services are advisory and educational in nature only.

2. Bookings and Enquiries

Enquiries are made via the contact form on this website. Following an enquiry, session times, format (virtual or in-person, where available), and fees will be confirmed individually with the Client before any commitment is made.

3. Fees and Payment

Fees for consultations and programmes will be communicated directly to the Client prior to booking. Payment terms, invoicing, and accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients are asked to provide as much notice as possible if a session needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. [Specific notice period, e.g. "at least 48 hours' notice", to be confirmed and inserted here.] Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to the fee for that session, at the Practitioner's discretion.

5. Confidentiality

All consultations are treated as confidential. Information shared during sessions will not be disclosed to third parties except: (a) with the Client's explicit consent; (b) where required by law; or (c) where there is a serious risk of harm to the Client or others, in accordance with applicable professional and legal obligations.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an advisory basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practitioner accepts no liability for outcomes, decisions, or actions taken by the Client as a result of the advisory support provided, save where liability cannot be excluded by law (including in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, structure, and materials provided during consultations or programmes — is the intellectual property of Dr. med. Riza Arapi and may not be reproduced, copied, or redistributed without prior written permission.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to that engagement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the Client's country of residence.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be raised via the contact form on the homepage.
